You can delete your House of India PA account at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.
The fastest way — delete it in the app
- Open the House of India PA app
- Go to the More tab
- Tap Profile, then Privacy
- Tap Delete my account and confirm
Your account is removed immediately and you're signed out on every device. You do not need to contact us.
If you can't use the app
Email houseofindiapa@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you no longer have access to that email address, call us on (610) 200-5233 and ask for the manager, so we can verify your identity another way.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and email address
- Your name, phone number, and birthday
- Your saved delivery addresses
- Your saved favorite dishes
- Your notification and email preferences
- Any cards you saved for faster checkout are disabled and can no longer be charged
What we keep, and why
Records of completed orders and the payments for them are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires — generally several years. This is a legal obligation, not a choice, and it applies to every business that takes payment.
These records are held by Square, our payment processor, and are not used to contact you or to market to you after your account is deleted.
Deleting only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove individual pieces of information. Each of these takes effect immediately, from the More tab in the app:
- A saved card — Profile → Payment Methods → Remove. The card is disabled at Square and cannot be charged again.
- A saved delivery address — remove it from the address list at checkout.
- A favorite dish — Recents & Favs → Remove, or tap the filled heart on the dish.
- Your name, phone number, or birthday — Profile → Personal Settings. Clear the field and save.
- Notification and email preferences — Profile → Communications.
To have anything else removed, email houseofindiapa@gmail.com describing what you would like deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
Please note
Deleting your account also ends your rewards membership. Any points you have not yet redeemed will be lost and cannot be restored, so it's worth using them first.
Account deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account once it has been deleted — you're welcome to create a new one at any time, but it will start fresh.
